While Dylan Group makes every effort to ensure our product is of the highest grade, It is still a natural product that is subject to the environment in which it is being utilised. With continued maintenance; Robinia timber poles have a life expectancy of approximately 40yrs in the ground.
Conditions of Sale for Robinia Timber Products & Disclaimer.
Robinia Pseudoacacia (Black Locust/ False Acacia) Timber is a natural product and subject to its environment and its own ageing process, while Robinia is far less prone then other hardwoods it may still bend, twist, split and change colour depending on its grain characteristics, age, changes in temperature and to levels of moisture and light in its atmosphere. While every reasonable effort is made to recommend and supply Robinia which is appropriate for its end use, no liability whatsoever is accepted or implied by Dylan Group or any of its employees for any timber supplied.
Dylan Group endeavour to despatch and deliver raw material within delivery is normally 3-5 working days from despatch and Excludes Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland and Scotland which will take longer.
Timbers that have to be processed through the work shop will carry a longer lead time based on current work shop commitments.
Please ensure you unpack and check your item(s) thoroughly before signing for the Delivery(s), in the very unlikely event your product(s) arrive damaged, the buyer is responsible to reject the item and refuse to sign for the Load(s), the buyer is also responsible for reporting the reject directly to Dylan Group within 10 working days. Dylan Group cannot accept responsibility or issue a refund if damaged product(s) have been signed for – This is due to the fact that Dylan Group cannot claim back from the couriers if the goods are signed for.
Returns and Refunds
Returns are accepted as long as you inform us within 14 days from receipt of your goods; either in writing or via email.
Your returned products must be in the original packaging and unused and undamaged. On receipt of your returned goods we will issue a refund or replacement accordingly. In this instance the return arrangements, postage and packaging costs are payable by the customer.
Dylan Group will not refund for any products returned or rejected after this 14 day period.
Any items returned will incur a restock charge of 20%.
In the highly unlikely event that there are items missing from your order, you are required to notify us by email or phone within 24 hours of signing for your Load(s). We cannot accept responsibility for items that are missing if a report is not made within the 24 hours.
